WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama flies to Minneapolis on Thursday for a town hall meeting and to headline a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the House Democratic political operation.

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The departure from the South Lawn and arrival at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport are open press.

While in Minneapolis, the President will host a town hall in Minnehaha Park. This event is open to pre-credentialed media.

Following the town hall, the President will attend an event for the DCCC. The DCCC event will have print pool coverage for the President’s remarks only.

The President will remain overnight in Minneapolis.
