House Speaker John Boehner (R) has taken over the title of most unpopular congressional leader from House Democrat Nancy Pelosi, who has pretty much had a stranglehold on the title since Feb. 2009.

A new poll from Rasmussen Reports has only 26 percent of likely voters having a “somewhat favorable” view of Boehner, while 60 percent have an “unfavorable” view.

Pelosi, on the other hand, is viewed unfavorably by 55 percent of those polled.

Boehner still has a ways to go to catch up to Pelosi’s peak of unfavorability, which came in Jan. 2012 when 66 percent of likely voters had an unfavorable view of her.

But for now, Boehner also has another title that may never be topped: Best crier on Capitol Hill.
