In the closing days of the fund-raising quarter, the Democratic Governors Association has moved more than $1 million in cash and consulting services to Gov. Pat Quinn’s reelection campaign.

The RGA had already plowed $1.5 million into the campaign fund of Quinn’s opponent, Republican Bruce Rauner.

The DGA and RGA both see Illinois as a battleground state and are expected to pour millions of dollars in all into their respective party’s campaigns.
