House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, is on a roll this week.

After taking a swipe at Democrats earlier in the week by saying impeachment talk is a ‘scam started by Democrats,’ on Thursday he took a shot at Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-NV, saying Democrats are plotting a “nutso scheme” on immigration reform.

While a divided House was moving toward vote on border bill before opting against a vote, Boehner suggested that bill is being used as a vehicle to negotiate comprehensive immigration reform.

“Instead of addressing the crisis at hand Senate Democrats are talking up some nutso scheme to jam through the Senate immigration bill, even though they know it will never happen,” he said, according to Talking Points Memo.

Boehner also reiterated that no matter what, the House won’t consider the immigration legislation that passed in the Senate.

Reid’s spokesman fired back via Twitter.
