If you’re looking to tuck away some political trivia, tuck this one away for future use: Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, writes love songs.

In an interview with ABC News, Hatch talks about his side gig as a songwriter. And he loves it.

“I think it might be something to be uplifting to people, that I have some love ideas in my mind,” Hatch said.

Where does he find time to write his songs?

“I once said that I wrote one while I was in a boring committee meeting,” Hatch said.
