New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has no problem being the subject of some hilarious satire.

And after Tuesday’s blizzard went bust, he had some fun doing a dramatic reading of the following Onion article:

The article “quoted” de Blasio as saying “Clutch your babes close to your breast and take small comfort in knowing that they will howl for but a few hours before death becalms them forever.”

The mayor said he had to do the dramatic reading because it was “so brilliant.”
