A 22-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

He was at 74th and Damen about 3:45 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and took himself to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition.
