A car stolen Saturday in Marquette Park with a 3-year-old girl inside was later found in the Ashburn neighborhood on the South Side.

A 26-year-old woman was unloading items from the 2007 Nissan Sentra about 12:50 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Sawyer when an unknown person got into the car and drove off with the girl still inside, Chicago Police said.

The girl was found a short time later on the side of the road in the 6600 block of South Fairfield, police said. She was still strapped into her car seat.

The car was later found in the 3100 block of West Columbus, police said.
