A 24-year-old man was shot in the back on Monday evening in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.

His condition was stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital after the 7:07 p.m. shooting in the 3500 block of West North Avenue, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
