Obama romance film in the works

That’s right, an Obama film. A romantic one at that. Currently titled “Southside With You,” it’s apparently about the afternoon in summer of 1989 when young Barack (then just out of his first year at Harvard Law School) fell for young Michelle (then a lawyer at a firm where he was interning) and finally succeeded in asking her out on a date. So reports Deadline.com, which broke the big story.

Casting-wise, the Michelle role falls to “Gossip Girl” and “One Life to Live” actress Tika Sumpter. Scouts are still on the lookout for a good Barack.
