A man was shot Thursday evening in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 24-year-old was shot about 5:10 p.m. during an argument at a home in the 5900 block of South Calumet, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in fair condition, police said.
