A man last seen at a downtown bus station and thought to be heading to Springfield has been reported missing.

Derrick King, 43, was last seen Monday near a Greyhound bus station in the 500 block of West Harrison, according to a missing person alert from Area Central detectives.

King was trying to travel to Springfield, the alert said. He is described as a 5-foot-11, 175-pound black man with brown eyes, black hair, a medium complexion and a gray goatee. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes.
