Not only was TedCruz.com trolling Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Monday morning, but while he was making his 2016 presidential bid announcement, some supporters for Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, managed to get a prime spot behind Cruz at Liberty University.

They apparently took Paul’s advice on Twitter, although did this in person:

Those students weren’t the only ones who didn’t want to be there to watch Cruz make his announcement. That’s because student attendance was mandatory, according to the New York Times.

And some of them took to the anonymous social app Yik Yak, which allows users to post and see what other are saying within a 1.5-mile radius.

Business Insider captured some fairly disgruntled students in attendance.
