From Shaquille O’Neal to Iman Shumpert, dozens of athletes have tried their hand at the rap game (albeit with little success). Similarly, Master P and Nelly both achieved moderate success as athletes while others found different ways to live out their sports dreams.

Jay Z, for example, is a former part owner of the Brooklyn Nets, and now owns Roc Nation Sports, an agency that represents big-time athletes such as Kevin Durant, Robinson Cano and Dez Bryant.
