View image | gettyimages.comChicago’s Chance the Rapper has all kinds of hometown pride in his latest music video, “Family Matters.”

The rapper is seen sporting a White Sox hat throughout the video and there is also footage of him performing while wearing a customized Bulls jersey with the number 15 and “The Rapper” on the back.

The video also shows footage of frequent collaborators the Social Experiment as well as his little brother and fellow rapper, Taylor Bennett.

The song also interpolates fellow Chicagoan Kanye West’s 2004 song “Family Business,” which is featured on his debut album “College Dropout.”

Chance definitely has a skill for making nostalgic, emotional songs. Earlier in 2015 he, along with Nico Segal’s Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment, released “Sunday Candy,” an ode to his grandmother.

Last weekend during his Austin City Limits performance, he teased a third solo mixtape (following 2013’s “Acid Rap” and 2012’s “10 Day”) and performed a new song.

“Family Matters” is also the name of Chance the Rapper’s current tour, which kicked off on Oct. 11 and will last until the end of November. There is no Chicago date on the tour, but he will be playing in Milwaukee on Friday.
