It’s a tradition almost as important as Thanksgiving itself, getting friends and family together to knock around on the cold, hard ground under the guise of football. Across the country people find lots of grass for their annual Turkey Bowl game.

With the popularity of fantasy sports at an all-time high, it’s impossible not to think about creating a team for Friday using the same concept. Figuring out who would fit in best on the schoolyard field in order to get a win.

Although, it would be way too easy to just take the best NFL players. So instead we’ve put together the best team using only professional athletes who don’t play in the NFL.

While some of the team members may no longer be at their prime, it almost makes the concept more ideal to see the old-timers running with the kids.
