The summer of Gronk comes to Chicagoland Speedway on June 20 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Rob Gronkowski, along with his four brothers, will serve as grand marshals for the night race on Father’s Day Weekend. Gronk’s father, Gordy Sr., will serve as the honorary starter. The New England Patriots tight end will drive the pace car and lead the drivers onto the track.

“I’m stoked to spend Father’s Day weekend with my family at Chicagoland Speedway,” Gronkowski said. ” Not only are we coming from all over the country to celebrate the best dad in the world, but I get the ultimate adrenaline rush of getting behind the wheel and driving the pace car to kick-off the NASCAR race. My brothers and I get to say the most famous words in racing, ‘Drivers Start Your Engines,” and my dad gets to wave the green flag to start the race. It’s going to be an awesome weekend.”
