It seems that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn’t quite over the events of last season. After defeating the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night 27-17, Rodgers took a jab at Seattle’s quarterback Russell Wilson regarding a comment Wilson made after the Seahawks won the NFC Championship game last year.

When asked about Sunday’s revenge-victory, Rodgers gave credit to a higher power.

From ESPN:

And then getting help from God. I think God was a Packers fan tonight, so he was taking care of us.

After the championship game last year, Rodgers said, “I don’t think God cares a whole lot about the outcome” of games. Rodgers added, “He cares about the people involved,” not the game itself.

Wilson spoke at the Super Bowl media day and argued Rodgers’ point about football. “I think God cares about everything he created,” he said.
