The Bears’ offensive line shuffle got a little more complicated Tuesday, when left tackle Jermon Bushrod left practice with a back injury.

Bushrod rehabbed a disc injury in time for training camp, but has been monitored closely since.

Coach John Fox said it was good preparation for game situations.

“It was good to get guys in some different spots,” he said after practice at Halas Hall. “And that’s going to happen in games and it’s going to happen as we move forward.”

The Bears’ right tackle position has been in the spotlight the past week, when Charles Leno Jr., surpassed Jordan Mills for the first-team spot.
