If fans wanted to know what exactly it took for Fred Hoiberg to put rookie Bobby Portis into a game, they found out Tuesday. With the Bulls down 33 points on the road to the Charlotte Hornets, Bobby Portis made his NBA debut.
The rookie missed every minute of the Bulls first four games of the season. Tuesday night the Bulls trailed the entire game, by more than 20 for most of the time.
The first time Portis touched the ball on offense he raised up for a mid range jumper, making his first ever shot in the NBA. Unfortunately, Portis looked out of sorts throughout much of the rest of his time on the court.
