If you are looking for player comparisons for Bulls first round draft pick Bobby Portis, look towards the NBA Hall of Fame.

In an interview with Sirius XM NBA Radio, Portis compared his game to that of basketball greats Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett — two players considered to be first-ballot HOFers. But he said certain aspects of his game are more akin to Garnett’s career.

I’m more KG, I’m not a guy that has many friends on the basketball court, he said. I’m going out there to try and win, I’m not trying to make friends in a basketball game.

Ports showed signs of potential star power in this year’s NBA Summer League. Against the Timberwolves No. 1 rookie Karl-Anthony Towns, Portis scored scored 23 points, added seven rebounds and a block in a victory for Chicago.

Bulls fans won’t be too hard on a mouthy Portis, as long as he brings a Garnett-sized game to the equation.
