Even with all of the recognition for the likes of Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant and Addison Russell, there are more Cubs prospects still to come. While not all of them will play for the Cubs, it’s always a good sign to see prospects receive recognition.
The regular season is over, but some prospects are still taking part in the Arizona Fall League. The Cubs have already had two prospects selected to the league’s Fall Star Game, and have a chance to send a third. Fresh off a year with the Tennessee Smokies, Jeimer Candelario can be voted into the game.
Much like the MLB All-Star game, fans can vote one player from each team into the game. Candelario, a third baseman, is one of three players eligible to be voted onto the East team. Current Cubs catcher Miguel Montero is already doing his part to drive up votes.

Candelario is a top 20 prospect for the Cubs. During the Fall League with the Mesa Solar Sox the 21-year-old is hitting .350 with three home runs.
The Cubs have already sent two players to the game. Pitcher Corey Black and catcher Wilson Contreras will be playing for the East Team. Fans have two days to vote and decide who will go to the game.
