Next to his fragility, the biggest knock against Derrick Rose in recent years is his shooting ability.

The Bulls guard began this season shooting a woeful 35 percent from the field, including 22 percent beyond the arc. He has turned that around since January.

No matter what you’re opinion of the enigmatic point guard is, there’s one thing you can’t deny: When Rose plays and has the ball in his hand with the game on the line, he’s as good as anybody in the league at closing out games.

Only Joe Johnson (48.1%) has a better percentage than Rose (47.4%) in clutch situations. In addition, Rose, despite all the games missed, has made as many big baskets in the closing seconds as LeBron James and Steph Curry.
