Derrick Rose looks explosive in first half against Portland

SHARE Derrick Rose looks explosive in first half against Portland

In his first game back from an ankle injury, Derrick Rose has looked no worse for wear in the first half of the Bulls game against Portland. The All-Star point guard hasn’t had a normal share of minutes, but while in he’s looked to attack.

Rose has had a number of moments where he’s shown not only an ability but a desire to attack. After getting comfortable on his ankle, Rose started using his quickness not only to go after the basket, but to force Portland defenders into bad positions.

But the play of the first half may have come off of a Rose pass. On a fast break, a no-look pass from Rose to Nikola Mirotić, Trail Blazers Allen Crabbe couldn’t even stay on his feet.
