When fans think about the greatest players in Chicago Bears history, names like Payton, Butkus and Sayers come up. However, kicker Robbie Gould is now owns one of the most impressive team records.
With his second field goal of the game Sunday, Gould became the team’s all-time leading scorer.
Gould now has 1,118 points, two points ahead of longtime kicker Kevin Butler. Walter Payton has the third most with 750.
Following the record breaking kick, a few former teammates reached out to Gould on Twitter to congratulate him.

Gould was on pace to break the record last season, but a career low in points pushed the record breaking kick back a year.
The former Pro Bowl kicker is back on track this year. He’s a perfect 9-for-9 in field goals and has only missed one extra point on the year.
