The U.S. government claims that Chinese hackers stole the personal information of 21 million Americans when they breached Office of Personnel Management databases last year.
That’s in addition to alleged Chinese attacks against corporate, military and research computer systems in the United States.
Last week, the University of Illinois announced that it would add Chinese-language broadcasts of its football games this season. The Illini have gone 12-25 over the past three seasons.
I believe that’s called a commensurate response.
