KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Quarterback Jay Cutler has officially won as many Bears games as Jim McMahon.
He did so in style Sunday, leading the team to two touchdowns in the final 3:05 to defeat the Chiefs, 18-17.
McMahon and Cutler have 46 wins apiece as a starter.
They’re tied for the most wins by a Bears’ starting quarterback since the AFL-NFL Merger 45 years ago.
“I think if I would have played better in the first half, maybe put us in a better position going into the third fourth quarter,” Cutler said. “But I’m super-proud of those guys.”
