Kevin Garnett’s attempted biting of Joakim Noah’s hand during Sunday’s game with Brooklyn was still a topic of discussion three days later.

“I mean, you all know the history between those two guys,’’ guard Jimmy Butler said of the incident. “It’s two fierce competitors that are just overly emotional, but love the game, so I guess you can always look to laugh when those two are going against each other, that’s for sure.’’

Asked if he thought Garnett was just playing or actually tried inflicting some pain on Noah, Butler said, “That’s between them. That has nothing to do with me. He didn’t try to bite me.’’
