Michael Jordan is greatest sports star of all time, says new Harris poll

Embed from Getty ImagesThere’s little debate about the greatest basketball player of all time. Most sports fans would tell you without hesitation that it’s Michael Jordan.

But greatest sports star of all time? Apparently that’s Jordan, too.

According to a new Harris poll, Jordan was voted history’s greatest sports star by 2,368 Americans that participated in the poll.

Jordan retains his No. 1 ranking from 2009, when Harris conducted the same poll. He’s one of two basketball players on the 2015 list and one of nine male athletes.

Brett Favre (previously ranked 5th), Ted Williams (8th) and Hank Williams (10th) all fell out of the top 10 this time around.
