Michael Wilbon compares Jimmy Clausen to Muggsy Bogues

Michael Wilbon joined ESPN colleague Stephen A. Smith in relentlessly criticizing the Chicago Bears during the team’s 48-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Wilbon’s target was Jimmy Clausen, the Bears’ backup quarterback who entered the game after Jay Cutler suffered what is being called a hamstring injury.

As you can see in the photo above, Wilbon’s comparison carries a little bit of weight, but Clausen, standing 6-2, isn’t as undersized of a quarterback as Bogues, standing 5-3, was compared to other NBA guards.

With the severity of Cutler’s injury still unclear, Clausen very well could be the Bears’ starting quarterback for the foreseeable future.
