On June 11, 1997, battling flu symptoms, Michael Jordan scored 38 points to help the Chicago Bulls beat the Utah Jazz 90-88.
The Bulls’ win that night gave them a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals, and helped propel Jordan and company to the NBA title.
Fast forward 18 years later, and Rick Santorum says he will be putting on a performance just as legendary in the undercard of tomorrow’s Republican presidential debate.
If Michael Jordan can have his NBA Finals Flu Game, then I can have my Laryngitis Presidential Debate #GameOn pic.twitter.com/E0eUSFUmRQ

Battling Laryngitis, Santorum plans to debate through the pain in Milwaukee despite not being a part of the main debate with the likes of Ben Carson and Donald Trump that will attract millions of viewers later in the evening.
Somewhere, MJ is impressed.
