Turkey on Chicago’s North Side: Wild of the Week

SHARE Turkey on Chicago’s North Side: Wild of the Week

Aileen Kim correctly thought I would get a kick out of a turkey crossing the street on Chicago’s North Side.

She emailed Thursday:

I thought you’d get a kick out of these photos I took of a wild turkey on the northwest side of Chicago (4900 block of North Kenneth Avenue). I caught it casually crossing the street at 9:45 this morning. Enjoy!

Enjoy it I did.

I asked if there was tom around gobbling or to be seen and she said not.

Wild of the Week, a celebration of wildlife around Chicago outdoors, runs on the Sun-Times outdoors page on Sundays when apt.
