Dikembe Dixson finished with 22 points, Marcus Ottey scored 19 and the pair combined to make 16 of 17 free throws to lead UIC to a 100-75 victory over Youngstown State on Thursday night at the UIC Pavilion for its seventh straight win.

Tai Odiase chipped in with 16 points, six rebounds and six blocked shots for the Flames (15-11, 10-3 Horizon League), who shot 52 percent from the floor, 42 percent from 3-point range and hit the century mark for the first time this season. Dominique Matthews added 14 points and Tarkus Ferguson handed out 10 assists.

Cameron Morse hit six 3-pointers and matched his season high with 26 points for the Penguins (6-20, 4-9). Braun Hartfield added 12 points and tied his career high with 11 rebounds for his second double-double this season. Youngstown State shot just 37 percent from the floor, 28 percent from distance and 60 percent at the foul line. The Penguins outrebounded the Flames 45-38, including a 23-10 advantage on the offensive glass, but it led to just a 14-8 advantage in second-chance points.
