The Aurora police have charged a 16-year-old boy and 38-year-old Crystal M. Moran with disorderly conduct, accusing them of filing false police reports.
The boy is accused of lying to the police about being robbed of a cellphone at gunpoint when he actually was robbed of marijuana and was being held at the Kane County Youth Home.
Moran also told police that she was robbed at gunpoint of her cellphone and $600 by a man at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of West Illinois, when she’d given her phone to a friend before he went to sell someone marijuana to someone who robbed him of the phone, the police said. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
