The start of the White Sox’ game against the Twins Wednesday is being delayed by rain. A tentative start time is 7:45 p.m.

This will be the second in a three-game series between the AL Central rivals. The series opener scheduled for Monday was rained out and rescheduled as part of a doubleheader July 19.

Dylan Cease is the White Sox starter. Bailey Ober will start for the Twins.

Before the game, the Sox recalled right-handed pitcher Michael Kopech from the 10-day injured list. They also placed lefty Aaron Bummer and right-hander Evan Marshall on the 10-day IL and recalled lefty Jace Fry. Bummer is retroactive to June 28.
