A man was found shot and killed early Saturday in southwest suburban Joliet.

Officers responded to a shots fired complaint about 1:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Chase Avenue, said Joliet Deputy Chief of Investigations Alan Roechner. Upon arrival, police found Dante Campbell, 34, with multiple gunshot wounds, Roechner said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, Roechner said.

Police are conducting a homicide investigation and no one has been charged in connection with the shooting.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
