A man was fatally shot early Wednesday at the mouth of a South Chicago alley on the South Side.
Around 1:30 a.m., DeJohn Garrett, 17, was found shot in the head in the 2500 block of East 80th Street, Chicago police said.
Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Area 2 detectives are investigating but no one was in custody.
