Police are looking for occupants of a black sport utility vehicle who were responsible for the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man Monday morning in Austin.
The man, 25, was in the 4800 block of West Lake Street around 8:40 a.m. when a black SUV approached and two occupants opened fire, Chicago police said.
The man was struck in the neck and back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died, police said. He was later identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Sencere Riley.
No one, including the two shooters who returned to the SUV and fled east, has been arrested in the attack.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
