A 19-year-old man was wounded Monday evening in a Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting on the West Side.

Just before 5 p.m. someone inside a light-colored Nissan SUV driving in the 4900 block of West Hubbard opened fire, striking the man in the left foot, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition stabilized, police said.
