The Academy, opening in a Walmart that was closed for months by last year’s looting, joins similar facilities offering jobs courses at Walmart locations in Orland Hills and Crystal Lake.

Chicago ranked second among U.S. cities in dog attacks on postal workers
The Postal Service released the numbers as part of National Dog Bite Awareness Week, which kicked off Saturday. Chicago had 59 attacks, just ahead of Los Angeles, with 54. Statewide, Illinois ranked sixth, with 200 attacks.
