Rahm on Charlton Heston: 'Shove it up his a--'

In recent weeks, some previously unreleased documents have been made available in Bill Clinton’s presidential library. And one of them involves a gem from former Clinton aide and current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

A 1998 memo from White House speechwriter Jeff Shesol recaps a meeting with Emanuel, in which they were talking about a speech about a new bulletproof vest law.

And how did Emanuel want Shesol to deal with National Rifle Association president Charlton Heston?

“Shove it up his ass” the memo reads.

Is any of this suprising? Not really. Especially considering that while working under President Barack Obama, he told his brother, Ezekiel Emanuel, to “Shut the f— up!” when he brought up tort reform during internal debates about Obamacare.
