Kobe Bryant finally admitted what seemed to be obvious to anyone watching. It is time for the superstar to retire. Bryant announced Sunday that the 2015-16 season would be his last.
After the future Hall of Fame player made the statement, there was a flurry of ticket sales for the Bulls final game against the Lakers. Despite being nearly three full months away, ticket prices are skyrocketing.
Ticketmaster is already warning fans that there are already not many tickets remaining at face value. StubHub, arguably the most popular and well known of the secondary market ticket websites, has almost no tickets for less than $90, even in the upper deck.
Deals can still be found on other websites, such as Vivid Seats, which are still offering tickets near face value. The excitement already surrounding the game has fans eagerly trying to get their hands on tickets.

The night will undoubtedly be special, not only for the fans in the building but for the players as well. Bryant made no secret about his love of Michael Jordan, so playing his final game in Chicago will almost certainly bring out a special performance.
Then again, all of the ticket sales for that game could just be because it’s Joakim Noah bobblehead night at the United Center.
Joakim Noah bobblehead night at the Bulls game! Jo had 16 rebounds and the Bulls won by 16. Good night all around! pic.twitter.com/uyODWmx8Dn
