Man with gunshot wound walks into West Side hospital

A man who was shot in the hand walked into a West Side hospital Wednesday afternoon.

The 32-year-old walked into Rush Medical Center at 12:38 p.m. with a graze wound to the right hand, police said.

He told police he was shot in the 1800 block of South California in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

Police said the man, listed in good condition, is a documented gang member.
