Robberies reported near U of C campus

Police issued a warning Sunday about a pair of robberies last week near the University of Chicago campus.

Victims told police that two to three men walked up to them and demanded their belongings. The two reported incidents happened in the 5200 block of South Greenwood on Oct. 16–one at 1 p.m. and the other at 7:30 p.m., police said.

The robbers are described as black men between 20 to 25 years old, standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds, police said.
