A man who was wounded in a drive-by shooting in May has died of his injuries.

Kevin Roberson, 21, was shot in the 7200 block of South Artesian about 4:15 p.m. on May 17 and took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Roberson, of the 1200 block of West 83rd Street, died at Kindred Hospital at 6:18 a.m. Tuesday, according to the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy Wednesday found he died of complications from a gunshot wound to the neck, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Police said at the time the shooting was thought to be gang-related.
