A male was shot early Saturday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood

The male, whose age was not immediately known, was in the 6400 block of South Washtenaw at 3:15 a.m. when he was shot in the knee, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was not known Saturday morning.
