Aaron Falzon, Jordan Ash sign with Northwestern basketball

Northwestern basketball announced the signing of guard Jordan Ash and forward Aaron Falzon to letters of intent Wednesday, both members of the class of 2015. Falzon marks the second top-100 player that coach Chris Collins has signed in as many recruiting years. Freshman Vic Law, who played at St. Rita, was unilaterally rated in the top-100.

Collins praised the pedigree of Ash who played at St. Jospeh High School which is among the most storied programs in Illinois history. Northwestern has made it a priority to recruit area talent. Collins called Falzon “as good a catch-and-shoot player as there is in the country.” Falzon figures to play power forward, bringing the kind of versatility Collins likes at the position.

The third member of the Wildcats 2015 class, Derek Pardon, will sign in the spring. In an interview with the Sun-Times, Pardon reaffirmed that he is 100 percent committed to Northwestern.
