Police are warning North Side residents after a pair of apartment burglaries in the Ravenswood neighborhood earlier this month.

In the burglaries, someone has broken in through unlocked windows or by pushing aside air conditioners, and made off with laptops and other electronics, according to a community alert from Town Hall District detectives.

One burglary happened in the 4600 block of North Lincoln on Nov. 7 sometime between 7:30 a.m. and midnight, followed by another break-in on Nov. 19 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the 4500 block of North Claremont, the alert said.

Anyone with information should call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
