Benet senior forward Emily Schramek came into Friday’s game with Naperville Central needing 16 points to reach 1,000 for her career.

She wasted little time in passing the milestone and then some.

Schramek scored her team’s first eight points and ended up tying her career high with 30 points on 11-for-18 shooting — including five three-pointers — as the host Redwings rolled to an 80-56 victory at the Tip-Off Tournament.
