Steve Wilkos, who parlayed his high-profile role as the security honcho on “The Jerry Springer Show” into his own nationally-syndicated series, will be back in Chicago to co-host WCIU-Channel 26’s “Me, You & The Morning” on Thursday, along with Jeanne Sparrow.

“The Steve Wilkos Show” is currently finishing up its seventh season, with new episodes airing through July. The eighth season is set to launch in September.

Before leaving the Chicago Police Department after a dozen years in 2001, Chicago native Wilkos was based in the Shakespeare District.
